| Promise is the matriarch here at Brandilyn. She was the second English Cocker to come into my home and she will never leave. She never got her championship because the show scene wasn't her thing. So she has come to be known as the top dog at the Brandilyn compound. She rules the roost! Though as a veteran she has mellowed quite a bit. I co-own Promise with her breeder, Harry Florez of Hamlet's English Cockers. Promise is my escape artist! She can go under just about anything. And the first place she heads for is the swamp behind our house. Promise adores water and she doesn't care if its clear lake water or murky green swamp water. She's gone from being a beautiful red cocker to a green swamp monster more times then I care to remember! |
