Rainy is Brandilyn's up-n-coming new star! Born September 24, 2007, Rainy did
not have the best start. She is a singleton and by the time she got around to being
born mom was to tired to do much pushing. On top of that Rainy was breech with
her back feet presenting first and with her back towards her mom's behind, so she
was unable to bend on the way out. I had to assist Goldie is giving birth to this
puppy and I was scared to death! Rainy was born not breathing but she did give out
one large gasp. I got into supermode and after about 60 seconds of brisk toweling
and other stuff Rainy was breathing on her own. She was nursing soon afterwards.
Rainy is now 13 weeks old. She is a little pistol! We are practicing our stacking,
daily. She has a looooooong way to go. I'll post updates as the weeks go by.
