I am so proud of this bitch! I got her from my friend Harry Florez of Hamlet's Cockers when she was 8 weeks old. She was just this tiny black fur ball. I kept her for a week and then drove to Ohio and met another friend who was actually going to be raising and showing her. That was June Suain of Pleasant Dreams English Cocker Spaniels. June and her husband Ken have been breeding parti colored cockers for 20+ years. Stormy is only the second solid color English Cocker they have owned. It was hard, but I managed to let June have her. The rest is history! Stormy had her ups and downs and got a little strange after her first season, but June managed to get her thru it all and this little bitch just kept collecting points. She got her majors within a month of one another to finish. This is a bitch with a perfect English Cocker head, she has a ton of substance and as she matures she just keeps getting more, she also has excellent movement with matching reach and drive. She's not quite two years old yet, but we have a couple breedings already planned for her. The first one will be with Signal, Ch Brandilyn Storm Warning. We are excited about what this will produce! This will be a line breeding on the import side of their pedigrees. It should be an all black litter with a real good chance of one or two black & tan pups! |
